Seattle Junior Hockey Association is pleased to announce the hiring of Erik Hanson as the Director of Skill and Skating Development.
After spending his youth hockey years between Seattle Junior and Sno-King, Erik's talents took him to the Junior level in the USHL and NAHL.
Following his playing career Hanson began coaching and has quickly established himself as the best skill development coach in the area. Many of his students have moved on to the Junior and College ranks including current student Wyatte Wylie who plays for the Everett Silvertips and is a Philadelphia Flyers draft pick in the 2018 NHL Draft.
"Erik is one of the best in the business in terms of individual skill development and we count ourselves very lucky to have him on board. I know Erik will prove to be one of our greatest assets in the continued development of our players." Says Athletic Director Nick Fouts
Hanson will begin working with our teams at the beginning of the season and will provide camps and lessons throughout the summer.
